Clementi & Co London Boxwood and Ivory 5 Key Clarinet with Mouthpiece.
What I can gather is that this clarinet is from the early 19fh century. Probably between 1805 and 1830
The clarinet is in good shape considering its age!
One of the key arms is broken. I’m sure anyone who knows what they are looking at will notice.
I believe this is a pretty easy fix, relatively speaking. It will need a brass bar soldered on in place so the finger can engage the key. This is a pretty simple design and wouldn’t be hard to do.
I believe there have been some repairs throughout the years. But this is absolutely expected.
The clarinet looks very good and even has all of the Ivory rings intact! They may be cracked, but not loose! They are still in place and holding together well!
I know just about nothing when it comes to historical and period clarinets
When I look these up, I can’t find much about them other than the obvious and a little more
